Hi, I’m Alasdair McBroom, the founder of VIEW and the creative behind AMcBroom Media, based in Belfast. With over 35 years of filmmaking, photography, aerial drone and photogrammetry craftsmanship under my belt, I’ve had the privilege of working with a spectrum of visionary clients across Northern Ireland and beyond. 

Some of My Highlights:

• Game of Thrones Studio Tour (Linen Mill Studios) — Collaborated with HBO and Warner Bros Discovery to produce teaser videos, photogrammetry-based 3D models and immersive promotional content that brought Westeros to life for global audiences. 

• A24 Films (New York) — Took on the role of line producer for a bespoke shoot for feature film ‘Y2K’, coordinating Belfast-based green-screen production with live feeds to directors in New York — executed seamlessly under tight timeframes. 

• Tourism Ireland & Tourism Northern Ireland — Produced breathtaking aerial and promotional visuals for campaigns that showcased Northern Ireland’s landscapes, coastlines and cultural landmarks to audiences worldwide. From soaring over the mesmerising Causeway Coastal Route to filming scenic journeys for the Antrim Coast Road campaign, I’ve worked closely with tourism bodies to share Northern Ireland’s breathtaking beauty.

• Royal Mail — My landscape photograph of Glenariff Waterfall was selected for official Royal Mail stamps — a proud recognition of my still photography craft.
